This month’s update is a smaller one, but still packed with meaningful progress as we continue refining the game based on your amazing feedback.
We’ve been gathering feedback from everyone who's jumped in to test—and it’s been invaluable. Many of you have gone deep, and your insights have helped us uncover bugs, inconsistencies, and design issues we wouldn’t have spotted ourselves.
Here’s what we’ve focused on in May:
Bug fixes reported by testers
Level design tweaks to improve flow and clarity
A full rework of melee weapon balance, adjusting damage and speed to feel more dynamic and impactful
Performance improvements and bottleneck fixes that only surfaced thanks to larger numbers of concurrent testers
We’ve also made updates to Autochronicle’s algorithm. It’s still evolving—and will continue to grow more sophisticated over time. These changes aim to make the generated narrative structure more consistent and responsive to player actions.
Thanks to all the story data generated so far, we’ve uncovered several edge cases and structural breaks that affect how season reset works. A lot is functioning as intended, but some pieces need deeper reworking now that the dataset is larger and more complex. We're on it.
To everyone who participated—and those still actively testing—you’ve made a huge difference. We’re excited to keep building with your help.
