January Update
January 30, 2025

January has been a big month for Unyha! We've focused on refining core systems, improving performance, and polishing the player experience. Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Autochronicle AI: Finalizing AI-Powered Heirloom Quests
After months of iteration, testing, and fine-tuning, we’re thrilled to say that Autochronicle AI—our personalized heirloom quest system—is finally in its final form! Well, v1.0.0 at least. Each heirloom now generates a unique and meaningful backstory that ties directly into the game world, making every discovery feel significant. This was one of the most ambitious features we set out to implement, and seeing it come to life has been incredibly rewarding.

UI/UX Polish Around Quests
With Autochronicle AI in place, we turned our focus to UI/UX improvements to make interacting with quests more seamless and intuitive. We revamped quest presentation, improved tooltips, and added subtle animations to make information delivery clearer without overwhelming players. Expect smoother navigation, better clarity, and an overall improved experience when engaging with your house’s history.
Huge UI Performance Boost
We've done a major overhaul of the UI rendering pipeline, resulting in a massive performance improvement across menus and interactions. This should eliminate any sluggishness when navigating inventory, quests, and game menus. Players will now experience snappier responses and smoother transitions, making everything feel more polished.

Polished and Improved Game Intro
The opening moments of Unyha set the stage for the player's journey, so we spent time refining the introduction sequence. We streamlined onboarding, improved visual presentation, and ensured the lore introduction is both engaging and efficient. New players should now have a much smoother and more immersive first experience.
That’s it for this month’s update! With Autochronicle in place and the game feeling better than ever, we’re shifting focus to the next phase of development. Thanks for following along, and as always, we appreciate your support on this journey!
Until next time,
— The Unyha Team
